Have you ever wondered how the earth entered a state of temporal segregation that earthlings call time-zones?
We all know the story of how the world came to have the uncountable thousands of languages spoken. For the sake of those that are not among the all that know, let us journey through the story:
In a holy book, there is a story of a mighty Tower. A Tower that symbolizes humans’ architectural genius. A Tower that reaches the sky. In this story, it was said that the whole of the earth had one language and few words before the construction of this magnificent masterpiece commenced. The construction of this tower pose a threat to the Creator. To deter the construction of this tower, the Creator launched a missile of confusion to the earth. The missile on impact confused the tongues of the workers and there was a speciation of languages.
Now that we all know how humanity got tongues, it is time to learn how the earth entered a state of temporal segregation or perhaps where the segregation all began.
The segregation began at a tower located in a citadel in the City of Seven Hills, in the nation of River Whye. The tower is not magnificent in height but it is a cultural and architectural symbol of the citadel. This tower is what can be called the Tower of Takel-Tamel or the Tower of Ten Cards.
This tower has three clocks facing three different directions. One of the clocks faces the entrance of the citadel. There is however something unique about this clocks. They no longer tell the time of the earthlings of the citadel. While it can be argued the tower still tells time, it definitely didn’t tell the time of the citadel’s zone anymore. What time does it now tells?
The clocks have once tell the time of the citadel’s geography, but that has become a stuff of legends. The clocks now tell times of a place that is out of the citadel’s galaxy. They now tell the time of galaxies light years away, galaxies where time may appear static. A while that seems distant ago, the clock tower tells the time of the citadel. Earthlings of the citadel could rely on the clock tower to tell their time accurately, but not anymore. Those period when the clock tower has not accepted the romance of timeless aesthetics.
Now, the clock tower has embrace romance and elope with aesthetics of architectural nostalgia and history. It no longer tell time to the earthlings of the citadel. It has ditched the citadel and the citadel has failed to catch up with the clock tower’s inter-galactic and inter-planetary sojourn through static timeliness.
To the earthlings, the clocks are static, perhaps they are not. The clock tower of the citadel has upgraded from telling the earth’s time to telling the time of different planets and galaxies at every turn of the minutes. The firmly unmoving arms of this clock tower is a wonder and mystery of the past and present.
