The SEALS Cup Organizing Committee conducted the draws of the 2025 SEALS Cup group stage on May 19, 2025. The draws took place at the UI SRC Chamber. The draws for both the male and female categories were done during the event.
32 Male teams will jostle for ultimate glory in the Male category while 16 teams will battle it out in the Female category. Participating teams in the competition were grouped into groups of four.
Forestry is the only team from the Faculty of Renewable Natural Resources that would be participating in this year’s edition of the competition. In the Male category, Forestry will face off against Philosophy, Psychology and Agricultural Engineering in Group G of the Male category. In the Female category, Forestry will play against Law, MBBS and Physiotherapy in Group B.

Group A: MBBS, IPE, Biochemistry, and ASSE
Group B: Pharmacy, Chemistry, EEE, and Statistics
Group C: Economics, Physiotherapy, Microbiology, and CLA
Group D: Law, Archaeology/Anthropology, Civil Engineering, and Political Science
Group E: Veterinary Medicine, LARIS, History, and Sociology
Group F: EHS, WPE, Geology, and Physics
Group G: Forestry, Philosophy, Psychology, and Agric Engineering
Group H: Urban Planning, Architecture, Petroleum Engineering, and Human Kinetics
The full draw for the Female category is as follows:
Group A: ASSE, Statistics, Human Kinetics, and LARIS
Group B: Law, MBBS, Physiotherapy, and Forestry
Group C: Sociology, EHS, Archaeology, and Microbiology
Group D: Pharmacy, Computer Science, Philosophy, and History.
The competition will kick off on Wednesday, May 21, 2025. All matches will be played at the Old Football Pitch (SUB) according to Olowu Daniel, Chairman of the Organizing Committee in a Press conference of the committee held on May 5, 2025.
