The level of confidence a human has can determine the extent he or she would prosper in life. In the history of human existence, there is no single successful person without confidence. The level of students’ confidence determines how successful they perform in school. Confidence is one of the major qualities every student must have to achieve good grades.

Firstly, a human’s level of confidence determines the extent a human can prosper in life. Life is made up of challenges and it is these challenges that make humans strong or weak. The challenges one encounters in life can create walls between one and success. Most importantly, every human needs to have the confidence to break every barrier created by challenges. Failure to showcase confidence in the face of adversities and uncertainties means defeat. Many people who accept defeat because they lack confidence do not prosper in life because prosperity is like a chain reaction. The tendency to overcome one stage means that one can accomplish the next stage. For example, a student who shows confidence and earns distinction in all courses in the 100 levels tends to accomplish distinctions in all courses in the 200 level. The student could only achieve this success because of confidence.

Secondly, every successful person must show confidence. Neil Armstrong is one of the most successful men that had ever tread on earth because of his confidence to embark on a dangerous journey to the moon. With confidence, he put his left foot on the lunar surface and declared, “That is one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind”. Moreover, one reason Armstrong could declare that historical statement is because of confidence. Many scientists have used their confidence to change the world. Among the notable scientists is Isaac Newton, Thomas Edison, and Gregor Mendel. They showcased confidence to be successful. These great scientists are like the great philosophers like Socrates, Aristotle, and Plato who questioned the unknown and got answers that humans are studying today.

Most importantly, the level of students’ confidence determines how successful they perform in school. University and college education is full of challenges that can derail the train of one’s progress. There are challenges in the lecture rooms and the school premises. Many students still find it difficult to balance their education with the social life on campus. To successfully overcome all challenges and become a distinction student, there is a need for one to showcase confidence in one’s dealing. It takes confidence to read difficult courses and it takes confidence to have distinctions in such courses. The cumulative grade a student will earn at the end of a semester will be determined by his or her level of confidence during the semester. All students can become distinction students only with confidence.

In conclusion, every student must showcase confidence to have good grades. The level of human confidence affects prosperity. It is not a hyperbole that every human must have the confidence to prosper in life. Moreover, All great men and woman that has used their leadership abilities to change the world could only achieve success because they have the confidence to challenge the norms and change the status quo. Also, students can only become successful in their studies if they show the confidence to overcome all challenges they encountered.
