Following the Results of the elections which was conducted in October 2021. The elected executives finally got handed over to today 11th January, 2022.
In the ceremony that took place at Faculty of Agriculture SLT around 11am, the outgoing president and his team handed over the baton of leadership to Comrade Agboola Adedotun and his elected team. Comrade Olayinka during the presentation of his report stated the achievements of his administration which includes the organization of Amazon king and Queen (Variety night) which was separated from the dinner event amongst other beautiful achievements. He particularly appreciated all RENARSITES and other members of the Team Dynamic executives for their support and turnout for events during his administration. He also stressed the impact of the literary and debating society in projecting the name of the faculty by defeating their opponents in the first round of the Competition.
He furthermore enjoined the new executives to do well to keep the flag of the great faculty flying high and keep the interest of the members of the association at heart always.
In attendance also was the newly elected Speaker of the house– Rt. Honorable Yussuf Ishaq Oluwatimilẹhin who lead the swearing in of the new executives. Five of the new executives were present at the handing over. Reasons for the absenteeism of others are not known yet.
Comrade Adedotun–the new president during his first speech said his administration would work around a tripod agenda which includes:
1)Academic excellence
2)Good welfarism
3)Fun-filled social life.
He also thanked his predecessor for the job well done before the meeting ended around 1pm.
