Williams Gospel

Dear Renarsites and everyone reading this, I hope this meets you well either on campus or in a particular corner in your room.
I am writing to you, setting before you a piece of information, one you have either thought about in the past, or you have not even thought about.
First of all, ignorance is a phenomenon that is endangering and capable of ruining the present and future of whoever chooses to be ignorant. If ignorance is enough to make miserable the sojourn of someone in life, then it is best to adhere strictly to information presented to one to clear off every ignorance in one’s life. I suppose you do not want to end up in a pit filled with muds of pity and “Had I knowns.” Do you?❓
The university community has been orchestrated to meet the needs of everyone willing and able to attend it, with academics being the principal focus, training, and teaching of theories and philosophies that are ancient with a vision to solving the world’s problems. Therefore, it is safe to say that you as a person in a university have come to learn, unlearn, and relearn everything that comes your way for 4 or 5 years as an undergraduate.
Thinking about the 4 or 5 years dedicated to books and impartation of knowledge. That particular 4 or 5 years of every individual are the most crucial ones. The transition stage between the old and young you into the adult life. This should bring to your memory that other aspects of life are embedded in this particular 4 or 5 years. Automatically it is the best time to gather enough experience and make your bag of wisdom and understanding, full of yummy and healthy materials, enough for you to stand the test of time (the rest of your life). If you ask me directly, I’d say academics in school (university) and every other aspect of one’s life( emotional, psychological, spiritual, and soft skills) should have a balance of 50/50.
This piece is coming to you in the second semester, which is the second half of the school session, and it is known to be characterized by jamborees and bells of “power-packed” events. Many fantastic organizations would begin to send you invites because they feel the first semester was for you to build your CGPA. This second phase should have a little bit of sprinkled relaxing and entertaining atmosphere. Look around you, what do you see?– Christian fellowships with programs on relationships and marriage, how to be a successful, energetic, and become a spiritually sound person; faculties and halls of residence with events such as variety nights, born fire, hall/faculty weeks, personality lecture, picnics, hangouts, carol, and concerts; inter facilities competitions; your friends are inviting you to birthday parties and overnight clubbing; nongovernmental organizations are sending invites to you to be part of them either as a volunteer or as an active member to render “services to humanity.” A lot of seemingly sweet gospels would be tabled before you, and you’re running them all simultaneously in your head. Isn’t that what you see?
Well, don’t think I am here to tell you not to participate in all these things; in fact, some of these engagements are more comfortable than the statutory four-walled classrooms. Simply because they present to you avenues to be more expressive of your talents and skills. I am only here to tell you not to allow these flyers you see around to fling you around. And here is what I mean.
You see, behind those beautiful flyers, there are innumerable things to it. Some people, particularly teenagers, are easily influenced by what they see. Those engagements are fantastic until they begin to ruin you unknowingly. An event that was envisioned for fun can, within split seconds, escalate to chaos due to simple uncontrollable anger and intoxication of wine. Shortly, you cannot predict the influence of such places on your life in the meantime and for the rest of your existence on the earth.
Would you agree with me if I say that you should not attend every flyer you see out there as a young person with set goals and a vision to achieve them? Some are good for you with intents to positively impart your life, but they are not suitable for you at that particular time. In essence, I caution that you should be solid with your decision-making power on which event to attend.
Of course, you should know what you want in life and what you want to achieve in life, and this piece should be coming to you at the most helpful moment. Take note of these words and let further sane and quiet thoughts from your within give you illumination. After all, that is why I have written this in clear terms. Do have a great week!
