The second administration of our dear association kick-start in March 2020 after the handover ceremony. The first elected set of executives has somewhat set a standard as they did everything in their capacity to deliver their promises to members of the association. Though their white linen was largely stained by their inability to carry out any capital project without any tangible and deserved explanation. The past is the past though the evidences are there for the coming generations.
Here is team dynamic being led by Comrade Olayinka Muhydeen currently in their 17th month of administration with approximately just 2 or 3 months to go – the most crucial and important part. Considering the number of months they have been controlling the affairs of the association, it is a pretty good time to evaluate both individual contributions and collective efforts.
To be fair, team dynamics has given themselves a good name as regards welfarism of members of the association, by being available to a large number of students online and physically. Even though they presently are in dare need of office space of their own, their interpersonal relationship and ability to gel members of the association from the four departments would receive a mark of 8 out of 10, to be fair. Collectively, they have done good for themselves.
Comparing the present administration to the immediate past administration, I’d say they surpass the landmark by giving them a mark of 6 out of 10 with respect to their relationship with other arms of the association which includes the students’ representative Council, the Press organisation, the religious body (RENARCA), the literary and debating society and every departments in the faculty. Unlike the past administration that started on a very bad and egoistic note with the SLC, so far they have been able to work together with every arm and so far so good the association is marching on to glory. If these baby steps being followed by team dynamic iss continued to the end, and it is well sustained by coming administration, the association would definitely soar higher than expected in few years.
There’s a popular saying that “united we stand, divided we fall”, the executives arm of the association has somewhat displayed themselves to be united from the rare but critically looking at the arm, maybe it’s just a mare make-believe. The sacred eyes of the masses might not have seen beyond the collectivness in sending broadcast messages, some officers would just come to collect plaques during dinner without active involvement. Where is the PRO? I hope they won’t fall.
On academics,Team dynamics has sure delivered on that. Right after the corona break, tutorials has been on going for 100 level students and 200 level though maybe with the assumption that 300 level students are senior students and can manoeuvre their way on their own. I’d say 5 out of 10.
Nevertheless, the administration still has a long way to go and eyes are on them to deliver beyond average on the forthcoming events and programmes. So far events that involves the whole of the university– inter faculty sport competition and inter hall and inter faculty debate competition. The faculty is gearing and preparing adequately with the help of the executives.
Would they deliver a top notch Faculty week?
Would team dynamic successfully complete the dean’s cup?
Would Comrade Olayinka led administration have a capital project?
