On Friday, 13th August 2021, the executive body of the RENEWABLE NATURAL RESOURCES STUDENTS’ ASSOCIATION presented their office budgets to the Faculty SRC. This sitting was held at the department of forest Production and products SLT, in line with covid-19 protocols.
The sitting’s agenda which was presentation of budgets by individual executives for their different offices started exactly 2:45pm, forty-five minutes later than scheduled – with about 15 honourables physically present.
The sitting officially started with the recitation of the second stanza of the National Anthem followed by the introduction of everyone present at the sitting.
Seven budgets in total were presented to the house, six office budgets and Variety night budget by the social Director. The total of the office budgets amounts to one hundred and three thousand, one hundred and ten Naira (₦103,110) while the sum total of variety night amounts to two hundred and eleven thousand, seven hundred and fifty naira (₦211,750)
After a session of rigorous questioning from the honourables as regards the budgets, the sitting was adjourned till further notice before which the budget screening committee would sit on the budgets and make a recommendation to the council for the final approval of the budgets.
